I wish it would get cold already.
I have had enough of this ridiculously warm weather! Who wants to wake up in a sweat in the middle of November. Seriously though. We put extra blankets on the bed because the temperature had been dropping in the middle of the night and we were getting cold. Now, though, it is too warm for the extra blankets this rainy warm weather is for the BIRDS I say.
Bring on the cool tempuratures and the Snow.
I love the Snow and I think its high time we see some.
I know this sounds like a strange rant but if you know me you know how I feel about snow... I love it! I prefer to drive in it over the rain and its much prettier than the end of Fall look: "Death".
Fall generally is my favorite time of year, but only when the leaves are changing and beginning to fall. Once they have all fallen I am ready for the glisten of snow. Plus, Snow makes it feel more like Christmas, and Christmas is coming very quickly. It's only 1 month and 17 days away. You must know that I also really love Christmas.
I guess I'm one of those romantic types that loves the silly things in life like, Walking in the Leaves in the Fall, the smell of Brisk Fresh Air, the glisten of Snow on a tree and across the lawn, the dazzle of falling snow at night, the reflection of Christmas lights on the snow, the Twinkle of a Christmas Tree, the coziness of Hot Chocolat and popcorn (vouch for me Jen and Gray), you know all that mushy stuff.
Anyway, its a rainy day which is only nice when you have some company to watch movies with, I miss my husband and my girls from SJ. So For now, I say Booo to the Rain and YAY to the Snow.
Have a Great Winter everyone!
Jen

Yes! I can vouche for you!
Oh do I ever miss you! Remember the christams tree and movie nights, stringing popcorn and drinking endless hot chocolate! It felt so magical. I wish I had appreciated it even more at the time.
Oh Jr. you have a great way of creating magical times. You're like the twinkle lights of life. Things seem a little more special when you're there.
I love you.
I miss you too. I do really miss being at the College with you girls. I love our Girl nights.. I love them more now then I did then
I am glad we did it though. OH to have a Christmas sleep over again.
Yes, I too can vouche for you.
Remember the time when the popcorn had been on the tree for weeks and then Gray ate it like a candy necklace? Which reminds me of the time I gave Gray a candy necklace before an exam and she crunched it and you wanted to kill her.
HA I just remembered another funny time. The Christmas party where Gray stuck jube-jubes on her face and told a story.
I miss you too.
hey Jr, remember the craft party? With the girls (and steve) while the boys went out and played with shopping carts?
If you want snow, come here...we're getting it and I don't want it!
I Was thinking about all those things the other day. I actually even thought about Gray sticking candy to her face and eating the popcorn. I had forgotton about the candy neclace though.. Good times. Oh and Jen remember the time I gave you your own movie for Christmas one year after borrowing it for like 5 years! And remember the time we prank called the folks in res and said "Buddy the Elf whats your favorite color" adn Joshua tracked us down. heheheheheh
Hey Shawn, If you dont like the snow.. why dont you come here... Oh wait you are! YAY
Oh man, I forgot about you giving me my own movie for christmas...only you Jr, only you!! hehe!!
We called so many people that day and by we I mean you and Gray!! haha! And near the end of that there was so many people sitting around the kitchen table...Nothing brings community together like some good old prank call!!
Hey Jen,
the snow is coming, when i left Huntsville, they have had snow 2 or 3 times, and last weekend it was nearly a foot.
My pictures of all of you having parties are the ones you had out on the balcony with the blankets, that and all the Christmas lights you hung up in November.
IT's all I can do to not put them up now! I keep saying wait.. Just wait December is only 22 days away... but its sooo hard. I think I may be a compulsive decorator.
Is there a 12 step program for that? If not, maybe you're being called to start one!
Yes, I think you might be right Gray!!!
Hey Jr, reading Paul's comment reminded me of the time we make a tent outside and brought the TV out there, the couch cushions and Gray made us scones! HAHA..Oh man, I love this post because it is bringing back so many memories...
Do you remember the time we stencled cows and hearts on the Curtains to make our kitchen more homey. And the read table cloth that made us look all country. And the pic of you and Gray in the kitchen and Gray looks like a mum.
HaHa, and we had red dish clothes to match!! LOL!!
Speaking of cows, I just remember the time Chris, Naomi and I were going to TEC and we were SUPER early so we drove around and seen the cows on the barge and Naomi's Mom asked them why they were hitting the cows...(or something like that)
Do you remember the time we got a ladder just to put up Christmas lights in the front window above the door??
Oh man, I love this remembering thing...it is great...
oh man it took forever to get those lights to stay up there.
Remember the sleepover where there was a huge storm and then we were all secretly hoping for church to be cancelled?
I love this post too! Horray for Jr.
Do you remember how Molly had to buy ear plugs to wear while we had our girl nites?? HAHA. And then we started to have our movies and stuff down stairs in the "spare" *cough* Gray's room....
Oh yes, do you remember the Smartie Party we had with Steven Smith????
fi am laughing so hard.. I remember it all! Do you remember sitting in res with three spoons and Big bowl of Skor Bar Triffle?
so delicous...so much skor triffle!
Hey last night Jen came over and watched a movie. When we were trying to decide what kind of snacks to get we were both suddenly struck by a craving for Whoopie-Pies (I'm sure the fact that we were discussing how much we miss you had something to do with that). We hurried around the superstore praying that they would have them. They did, and let me tell you sister, they were not even a tenth as good as yours.
Skor Bar Triffle...oh so much goodness in one BIG bowl...*droolling
Hey Jr, do you remember the first year we lived together when one of us would try to write an essay or do some homework and if we met we would talk for hours...haha
mmm snow..I am not all about the really cold wind that comes with it though, oh Jen I miss you!
yes, Jen H I remember the cow incident in Gagetown hilarious!
Is Christmas really that close??
yes Jen we were not very good at getting our work done that year.
Naomi, I miss you too!
Jen, you really are a Maritimer! I am so glad the snow has not come here yet! (It's the BC girl in me that loves fall and rain)
