Chris' Birthday party

Hello all, the following are pics from Chris' birthday Party. We had race car table cloth and napkins to match! We had plenty to munch on including a Clown Ice cream Cake from the good ol' DQ. To top off the night we played Commercial Crazies (thanks Mum and Dad) He recieved all kinds of gifts (despite the "NO GIFT" warning on the invite) What can I say except we've been blessed with good friends.

Debbie and Joy are making decorating plans

Greg is enjoying some chips and dip (thanks for the Dip Heather!)

Happy Birthday to you!

A Christmas At Foundations

Working at Foundations means I had the distinct pleasure of planning, creating and riding on the Foundations Christmas Float.
We decided that our theme would be a Gangsta's Christmas. We choose this theme because the majority of the students who frequent Foundations are wanna be Gangsta's. So, for Costume all girls were to arrive in White Hoodies
and the boys in their regular attire (Black Hoodies) the girls wore Garland in their hair to look like angels and the guys wore red (TEC) scarves.
The Float was decked out in Christmas lights and my Tree ( I used other decorations so It wouldn't feel like my tree). The Students sat on bails of Straw and I stood at the back of the Float behind a make shift counter and dished up Chili, compliments of Capt. Shawn Branch. We had a sign at the front of our Float reading " Christmas at Foundations" and the students ate the chili just as if we were at Foundations.

The real give away that we were Gangsta other then the Hoodies and Mary Jane Bandanas,
was the Gangsta Music, we were the loudest float by far as we pumped out Christian Christmas Rap. I found a CD online called "Gift Rap". It's actually not bad. Anywho, here are some pics... If I have the energy I might put together a slide show with some gangsta music but the pics with have to do for now.

A tribute to Gray's Pizza Crust

I have a dear friend named Gray
About her, I have one thing to say
She makes a Pizza crust that blows them all away.

Gray your recipe has made me famous you see.
I made it for a few and they ate it all with glee.
After which they all exclaimed your Pizza sets me Free.

My Friends now think that Im the one
Who makes the best pizza under the sun
And so dear Gray I simply should say, I love you a ton!

I wish it would get cold already.

I have had enough of this ridiculously warm weather! Who wants to wake up in a sweat in the middle of November. Seriously though. We put extra blankets on the bed because the temperature had been dropping in the middle of the night and we were getting cold. Now, though, it is too warm for the extra blankets this rainy warm weather is for the BIRDS I say.
Bring on the cool tempuratures and the Snow.
I love the Snow and I think its high time we see some.
I know this sounds like a strange rant but if you know me you know how I feel about snow... I love it! I prefer to drive in it over the rain and its much prettier than the end of Fall look: "Death".

Fall generally is my favorite time of year, but only when the leaves are changing and beginning to fall. Once they have all fallen I am ready for the glisten of snow. Plus, Snow makes it feel more like Christmas, and Christmas is coming very quickly. It's only 1 month and 17 days away. You must know that I also really love Christmas.

I guess I'm one of those romantic types that loves the silly things in life like, Walking in the Leaves in the Fall, the smell of Brisk Fresh Air, the glisten of Snow on a tree and across the lawn, the dazzle of falling snow at night, the reflection of Christmas lights on the snow, the Twinkle of a Christmas Tree, the coziness of Hot Chocolat and popcorn (vouch for me Jen and Gray), you know all that mushy stuff.
Anyway, its a rainy day which is only nice when you have some company to watch movies with, I miss my husband and my girls from SJ. So For now, I say Booo to the Rain and YAY to the Snow.
Have a Great Winter everyone!

Which Denomination is your Bra?

I recieved this today from a couple of my Aunts. It is quite funny. Please Ladies know that I love all of you the way you are no matter you cup size or denomination. Also know that most of what is said about each could be said about them all.
Enjoy!

What Denomination is your BRA?

A man walked into the ladies department of a Macy's and shyly walked up to the woman behind the counter and said, "I'd like to buy a bra for my wife."
"What type of bra?" asked the clerk.
" Type?" inquires the man, "There's more than one type?
"Look around," said the saleslady, as she showed a sea of bras in every shape, size, color and material imaginable.

"Actually, even with all of this variety, there are really only four types of bras to choose from."
Relieved, the man asked about the types. The saleslady replied:
There are the Catholic, the Salvation Army, the Presbyterian, and the Baptist types. Which one would you prefer?

Now totally befuddled, the man asked about the differences between them.
The Saleslady responded, "It is all really quite simple..

The Catholic type supports the masses.
The Salvation Army type lifts the fallen,
The Presbyterian type keeps them staunch and upright, and
The Baptist makes mountains out of mole hills.

Have you ever wondered why A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, G, and H are the letters used to define bra sizes?
If you have wondered why, but couldn't figure out what the letters stood for, it is about time you became informed!

{A} Almost Boobs...
{B} Barely there.
{C} Can't Complain!
{D} Dang!
{DD} Double dang!
{E} Enormous!
{F} Fake.
{G} Get a Reduction.
{H} Help me, I've fallen and I can't get up !

They forgot the German bra.
Holtzemfromfloppen!
