Food for thought

I was just thinking today at work..
"Wouldn't it be nice if I could save money in my bank account the way my body saves fat.
And... in keeping with that.. wouldn't it be nice if I could loose weight the way my bank account looses money!!!"

Extra Extra Read all about it...

Ok.. SO.. I was working in the Labeling room at Ivanhoe and was stamping boxes for the up coming days.
I was making Boxes that said "Extra Thick Cheddar", this required repetitively stamping the word "Extra" on many boxes.
Doing this, of course, caused me to think "Extra Extra read all about it" and said it a few times over in my head.
This then lead me to thinking " I wonder why they said Extra... is it because that was the name of thier paper? Was it because it was simply extra information that no one really needed to know?
So. my question to you is.. Why did they say "Extra Extra!" ?

"this is the Life"... an escape from reality

Chris took me on a romantic escape this past weekend. We Stayed in a fantansy sweet called the Montebello Room.
We arrived around 2pm and he made me stay in the car so I wouldnt know how much it cost.

Then we spent a relaxing evening in our complimentry bath robes, sipping champaign and soaking in the jacuzzi tub.

We had dinner at Crabby Joes.. at my request and had a hot complimentary breakfast the following morning at Cora's.

It was a wonderful escape and I am so very thankful for my sensitive Husband. He knew I needed it.

Packaging Cheese...

SO I finally have something to blog about now. Though it almost seems that blogging is a way of the past since Facebook has taken over my life.

I work at the Ivanhoe Chees Factory. I am still very new at this job and am trying to decide if I am factory material. I am a task oriented person and have a list of task that need to be accomplished in a day is actually something I like. As we finish each order and work our way down the list it is very rewarding. It's nice to be able to measure what i have done that day.

I must say, this job has given me a whole new perspective of hard working people who dedicate thier whole lives to this form of employment as a means to support their families. Cudos to you Dad.. You are a dedicated man and I never appreciated your sacrafices until now.

Getting up at 4am to be busy at work by 5am is a whole new thing for me and it has taken some time for me to adjust. Unfortunately I havent been very gracious with my husband when I get home and have actually been a little cranky on occasion in the last 2 weeks.
Ok I have been alot cranky.. and pretty unbarable at times. God Bless that man!!!
